Ten years ago, on August 1st, we embarked on our journey at the Bradbury Care Centre. We took over the centre and rescued it from imminent closure by the council. The centre flourished, with attendance rising from 5 to an average of 20 people per day. In true Bradbury fashion, we celebrated with The Whitchurch Singers and The Bradbury Choir!
The Whitchurch singers graced us with a visit and a splendid selection of songs. Our very own Brenda performed her solo of 'We'll Meet Again' beautifully. Congratulations to Brenda for such a wonderful performance.
We had the honour of being joined by Rose Hall, the Deputy Mayor, who participated in the afternoon's activities.
Celebrating a decade-long journey, we have Karen, who joined us as a transfer and has since been a dedicated employee at the Bradbury Care Centre. What better way to honor this milestone than with a stunning bouquet? Our heartfelt thanks to Gallery Flowers for the exquisite blooms.
The driving force behind it all, Manager Mandy Silvester, cannot be overlooked. Her journey began a decade ago, transforming the Bradbury Care Centre into its current esteemed state. With continuous growth, the centre is now expanding to include four respite rooms in the downstairs area, signalling even greater developments ahead.
