On July 26th, the Bradbury Care Centre went on tour for our annual trip out to hit the beach in Llandudno.
Not the best of weather but that did not dampen our mood. We had the great pleasure of Andy from Boulton coaches to take us on this annual trip of ours. The bus was filled with singing, laughter and friends as well as staff. This fun filled journey ended up in the beautiful sea side resort of Llandudno, a place loved by many of our service users. The main event of the day was all planned and booked well in advance so nothing could go wrong... and it didn't! (phew).
We arrived in perfect time at the Merrion Hotel who received us with a warm welcome and had everything set up and ready for us. Fish and chips started being served immediately and boy... they were 5 star fish and chips! This was followed by a much-needed cuppa.
Following our lovely lunch we then split into groups and set off around the sea front, some walked the peer, went shoping and just sat and admired the view. unfortunately the heavens decided to open slightly but that did not dampen our enthusiasm. The adventures of the ice creams was entertaining to say the least, its a battle between you and them huge seagulls, but they did tend to succeed twice by swooping in and grabbing their target. Laughter was all around! Sadly the day then had to draw to end but we did have the jolly journey to look forward to with Andy and the Coach singers.
